Wow, so we’re ending 2010 in style!! I am proud to announce that this Saturday 23rd October, I will be producing a bespoke once in a life time opportunity (for me) to actually put on an event in Salisbury Cathedral. It actually clashes with my 5 year wedding anniversary, that’s how important it is!
Nick Heyward from Haircut 100 (Fantastic Day – ask your parents!) will be performing with a modest backing band in a candlelit vestry, which will be breathe taking and completely unique!
The gig is part of Oxjam Wiltshire, which sees 4 other events at 4 other venues in the city all on one night, including Martin Browns comedy night at The Winchester Gate, Darrell J Fords acoustica at The Boathouse and a fully fledged rock night at The Old Ale House, which features the cracking line up of The Operation, Out Like A Lion, Silhouette Showgirls and Reckon along with one local Salisbury band DIRTY ROUGE, some of the most promising Wiltshire wide talent!
You can buy tickets for the event, where 1 ticket gains access to all the venues all night are priced at £5 and available from wegottickets. For £5 that’s a ruddy bargain and we hope you agree!
Please join us on Facebook, and check out the event pages for full details on each event, times and acts etc.
I am super stoked about this, as I have only two more shows this year – multi line ups at The Lamb in November and December – and this is my first time in Salisbury. After 6 years of promoting, engineering and stage managing to work at the Cathedral is an honour.
