Just a little update for those who care…
Fingers crossed for our next show (at The Lamb), September 10th’s Folky stomp night featuring Bath’s Doubtful Guest among others. I will have largely converted The Lamb into a more functional venue!
Going up on the walls are a pair of good Tannoy speakers, with a sub soon to be plummed in as well. We will have a backdrop with a lovely new logo printed, (Design by Proper Graphic). More power points and the mixing console should be going in too. I will be raising money for a lighting system to go on the ceiling soon to complete the set up.
I recently bought a drum kit from a local lad, so we now have a house “shells” kit in place, meaning less gear for local bands to lug about, unless of course they want to use their own gear! AND I could well be building another stage, very much like the one we used to use at The Cavalier back in the day! So fingers crossed September 10th will be a show to check out as it will all be going on!
Otherwise, you can catch the next show on Saturday July 27th at The Lamb, an indie night featuring Salisbury based band, The Croquet Field and our very own BROWFORT.
Keep listening to Fantasy Radio for repeats of Matthew Corbetts session, which I have been programming with Matthew, it features live sessions of our acts, along with some funny interviews and all our local bands getting radio play. The next one is THIS Saturday the 20th featuring Jamie Coupe live in session and Browfort being interviewed. Who says we don’t spoil you?!
