Local drummer up for national award!

Wonderful news from Simon Small, drummer of Jon Amor Blues Group – who is up for an award at the National Blues Awards 2012. Simon has been playing locally in various guises over the last decade, and so I’m proud to know that he’s up for a gong at these awards.

Below is an email Simon sent out, requesting we vote for him, so if you have a spare few minutes I encourage you to do so! (you also get the chance to vote for Jon Amor in the singer section and his band and album too – so remember to vote for those)

I’d also like to say a big well done to Simon, he’s worked hard to deserve this, and is a superb drummer. All local drummers should take inspiration from this. Well done chap!
