Friday night will see the début Devizes outing of, Robb Andrews new blues n’ roll band THE CITY LIGHTS, at The Lamb in Devizes.
Not to be confused with Andover covers band, City Lights, who have previously played the Lamb twice – The City Lights are from Cheverell, Trowbridge and Bath, and feature Robb back behind the kit with Toby Fowles on lead guitar and vocals.
Originally a 2 piece, you can hear a track below, lifted from their Soundcloud – the band have now beefed up with a second guitar – still no bass – Taking cues from Jon Amor Blues Band and Devizes-Old boys, Bite The Buffalo – We appear to be generating a bit of a Blues culture in Devizes!
Entry to Friday’s show is FREE (as usual) and will feature Bath singer song writer and Sheer favourite Georgie Vale, along with another Trowbridge act, Phil Cooper – formally of The Haiku but successfully soloist after numerous support slots including opening for Dodgy and Mark Morriss of The Bluetones.
Entry from 8pm, in the function room at The Lamb, in St Johns Street, Devizes.
