Now on to our 3rd instalment of the Damp Session’s craze that is spreading across Wiltshire, “The Dripping V” is due to get pulses racing this Friday, at the usual venue of The Lamb, in St Johns Street, Devizes.
Aaron and Benji have really been putting in so much hard work to get Damp Sessions all across the county, with “The Steamy Bean” at Costa Coffe in Calne recently being added to new events in Chippenham too.
Credit to the lads, as their shows are always well attended with a vibe rivalled by none on the Wiltshire wide, local music circuit. They have taken the step to record this Fridays show, with a proper crew, to try and capture the spirit and nature of the shows – Wear your best glad rags and join their Facebook page, and join in the innuendo.
This Fridays show, opens at the regular time of 7.30pm in the function room and will be head lined by Malmesbury based indie band, The Darwin Republic (if you can find anything on them on the internet, then you are better at the internet than me.) AND long time absentee from the Lamb, Jessie Branson – we’re all excited to see her again!
The rest of the line up in includes…
The Darwin Republic
Kate Lomas & Megan Rose Gibson
Entry is FREE like usual, and there will be the regular free shots of Sambuca at 10pm too!
Benji’s début EP, which features long time friend and collaborator Hibbz entitled “Moist” will be released this coming Saturday, at a special Damp Session in Bath. >More Info<
