Travelling from that there Worcester, this Friday we have country-folk-rock styling from JASPER IN THE COMPANY OF OTHERS.

They sound like Dexys Midnight Runners put through a 90’s folk-pop filter. It’s charming, fun and lively. Even with the limited space, you’ll be dancing and swinging from the drapes. They were one of the best acts at 2000 Trees in 2015, so you’d be silly to miss out.

This also represents the biggest band, in terms of kit, in for-aaaages. Provided this goes off without a hitch, we can look at regular bands again! So quite literally, watch this space…

Main billed support is touring act, soloist, Alex Rainsford. Alex peddles a sound perfect for the venue, not a million miles away from previous acts such as Andy Oliveri or Henry Green. Judge for yourself…

Opening the show will be an industry stalwart, CHARLIE BATH. Charlie spends a lot of her time on the road, usually selling merch for household name size bands. When not selling other peoples wares at festivals etc, she does a great line of acoustic music.

Despite being based in Swindon, she’s only ever done one gig for us, Xmas before last, supporting Retrospective Soundtrack Players. This is a chance to put things right, and finally break her Devizes duck.
