This Show Could Be Your Life.

Here we have one of the longest post-social media acts going, in the shape of Sam Duckworth aka Recreations (Formally Get Cape Wear Cape Fly), touring with his new Xtra Mile label mate, Rob Lynch

For me this is terribly exciting, as Rob lynch seems to be popping up on bills all over the place, and after missing out on his 2000 Trees warm up last year, we haven’t been able to pin him down, until now.

Completing this line up is Southampton based, Sean McGowan. We contacted Sean like, years ago, and it never panned out. So It is a little bonus to have him open the show, BUT what this does mean, since I’m such a fan of the classic 3 act bill and not rushing the show / pissing about with stacks of kit is…. There’s no local support.

This means this gig stands solely on it’s own merit.

Personally this line up is a dream for me. Great associated label, acts with loads of history and involvement in the wider scene (Sean McGowan also doubles up as a guitar tech, last seen with Skinny Lister supporting Frank Turner on tour) and Swindon again on a rad tour poster.

Tickets should sell strong, after Sam’s Xmas gig in December, which, like this time, is a co-promotion with Songs Of Praise

Cheaper £8 advance tickets are available from WeGotTickets, SeeTickets and direct from The Vic, Swindon.

The gig will be in all the usual places, so Social Search it, yeah?
