Sheer Festivals update!

With 2000 Trees still freshly burnt into our collective minds, here’s a quick recap of where you’ll see our mixed bunch over the coming weeks!

First up on Saturday 6th August at Pewsey Music Festival, you’ll see our regular Jaz Delorean finally bring his full band TANKUS THE HENGE back to Wiltshire! (their previous show being a private party). We were absolutely delighted to get these on the bill, as they are the ultimate wayward, gypsy jazz, vaudeville, festival feel good band! Get your tickets HERE. Also on the line up, Sonic Meds – a super group of friends, and recent Lamb terroriser, John Otway.

Here’s what to expect;

Then on Saturday August 20th, it’s ALL ROADS LEAD TO FROME. Our very own mini festival! All set on one day, across 3 stages, we welcome all the best acts from our past 12 months, including BEANS ON TOAST, Recreations (aka Get.Cape.Wear.Cape.Fly), CHRIS T-T, Oxygen Thief (wait… ALL Xtra Mile bands?) + MANY MORE! & it’s a bargain advance ticket of just £10. We’re good to you! (watch out for a Sneaky cameo from Sheer member Mike Barham)

Our head liner….

A tough act to follow, but we’re good at following tough acts, and on Sunday 21st August we supply music for PICNIC IN THE PARK

On this bill, our most surprising of packages, JASPER IN THE COMPANY OF OTHERS, will regale you with their Banjo/Fiddle/Double Bass/Acoustic combo. They managed to inspire a crowd of unknown fans for their first time, to sing-a-long unprompted and even dance on the tables at The Lamb earlier this year. This was no accident, as they are an incendiary live act!

Family friendly, bring all your kids, siblings and parents / grandparents with you!

Finally, August bank holiday weekend, DEVIZES STREET FESTIVAL, sees us bring Celtic Folk-Punk act, THE LAGAN, to The Green, on the Sunday, 28th.

FREE ENTRY on the Green, and with the drinking ban lifted, this promises to be another riot of fun and exuberance, with more Banjo / double bass treatment they’ll be the bestest way to finish the summer in musical style.

It’s been an absolute pleasure to book and deal with all these acts, promoters and venues, and for the most part we’ll be punters at these events, so if you see us, pull up a pew and raise a toast!

    1. Hey Spike, glad you enjoyed it! We had fun too. All the people who came were thoroughly wonderful, haven’t had an atmosphere like that on such a setting since 2000 trees!
